During her post-graduate studies, Dipanjali felt the need to learn how to create and present assignments using PowerPoint, a skill necessary for her coursework and academic progress. Through Eyeway’s intervention, she was connected to Enable India, an organization that provides skill-based training for persons with disabilities. There, she underwent a course in PPT, which helped her gain confidence in preparing and delivering her presentations independently.
Equipped with these new skills, Dipanjali has become more self-reliant in her academic journey. She no longer needs to depend on others for preparing her assignments, and her ability to present her work has strengthened her performance in class.
Dipanjali’s aspirations extend beyond her current studies. She aims to become an IAS officer, motivated by a desire to contribute to society and serve as a role model for others with similar challenges. To take her closer to this goal, the next step is to help her gain admission to a reputed coaching institute for civil services preparation.
Her journey highlights the importance of timely guidance, access to resources, and mentorship in enabling people with visual impairment to achieve their ambitions.
