Lakhvinder Singh, a 25-year-old from Jalandhar, Punjab, was born completely blind. Despite this, he never allowed his disability to limit his ambitions. Growing up in a family of five, he faced many challenges, but his passion for music gave him direction and strength.

His dedication led him to complete a degree in music from Guru Nanak Dev University, an achievement that filled him and his family with pride. However, Lakhvinder wanted more than just a degree — he dreamed of becoming a music teacher, someone who could inspire others through the power of music.

To achieve this, he realized he needed to learn computer skills, which would help him prepare digital notes and connect more effectively with his students. Through Eyeway’s support, he was guided to Sarthak Educational Trust, where he enrolled in a computer training program. With determination and effort, Lakhvinder successfully completed the course.

Today, he feels confident and empowered. Equipped with both his musical knowledge and digital skills, Lakhvinder is preparing to start his own music classes. He also plans to apply for a small business loan to establish a music academy in the near future.
