ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES IN BANK OF BARODA UNDER THE APPRENTICES ACT, 1961

Bank of Baroda invites online applications from Indian citizens for engagement as apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 (as
amended from time to time).

Age: 20-28 years

Educational Qualification: Graduation Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government.

Duration of Training: 12 months of On-the Job Training
Registration: Candidates Registered on NAPS and/or NATS portal are eligible to apply.

Age relaxation: 10 years

 Reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities:
Under section 34 of “The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016”, persons with benchmark disabilities are eligible for Reservation. The reserved categories of disabilities mentioned under this Act are namely:
a) Visually Impairment (VI) - Blindness and Low Vision;
b) Hearing Impaired (HI) - Deaf and Hard of Hearing;
c) Orthopedically Challenged (OC) - Locomotor Disability (One Arm - OA, One Leg -OL, Both Legs -BL, One Arm & One Leg -OAL),
Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims and Muscular Dystrophy;
d) Intellectual Disability (ID) - Intellectual Disability (Autism Spectrum Disorder, Specific Learning Disability and Mental Illness) & Multiple Disability;
e) Multiple Disabilities means disability amongst clauses (a) to (d) including deaf-blindness in the posts identified for each disability.

Candidates should mandatorily first register themselves, if eligible, in the Apprenticeship portals of Government of India viz NATS portal https://nats.education.gov.in (Navigate to the “Student Register/Login” section) and NAPS portal: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in

Job Profile:
This is neither regular employment in the Bank nor a contract employment in the Bank. Please note that the candidates engaged as Apprentice will only be “Trainee” and will NOT be treated as “employees” of Bank of Baroda and will not be entitled to receive any benefits which are available for the Regular employees of the Bank or for the Contractual employees of the Bank.

Application fees: Rs.400/- plus GST 

Candidates can apply for engagement as apprentice in one State/UT only
