Courage, Confidence, and Dreams

Dipanjali Keskar, a young woman from Solapur, is proving that determination and the right support can help overcome even the biggest challenges. Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Economics from Solapur University, Dipanjali’s journey reflects courage, perseverance, and self-belief.

Born visually impaired, Dipanjali is the only blind member of her family. Despite the challenges, her parents always encouraged her to continue her education and dream big. She began her studies in a special school, where she studied from Grade 1 to Grade 7. Later, with confidence and determination, she transitioned into a mainstream school and successfully continued her education alongside sighted students.

Her dedication toward learning helped her pursue higher education, but Dipanjali understood that academic knowledge alone was not enough. She wanted to become independent and improve her computer skills so she could confidently build a successful future.

Searching for guidance, Dipanjali contacted Eyeway to learn how she could study computers from basic to advanced levels. During counselling, she was encouraged to join TTI Institute in Pune, where suitable training support for visually impaired students was available.

In the beginning, Dipanjali felt nervous and uncertain about learning computers. Remembering shortcut keys and operating different functions independently seemed difficult. Like many first-time learners with visual impairment, she lacked confidence and often questioned whether she would be able to manage technology on her own.

However, with regular practice, determination, and the support of dedicated trainers at TTI Institute, she slowly started gaining confidence. Day by day, she improved her computer skills and became comfortable using shortcut keys and completing tasks independently.

Today, Dipanjali successfully performs the assignments given by her trainers and enjoys learning new skills every day. She proudly shares that something which once felt impossible has now become a source of confidence and growth.

Dipanjali now dreams of becoming an IAS officer and serving the nation with dignity. Through her journey, she hopes to inspire other persons with disabilities to believe in themselves and never give up on their dreams.
