Kerala Federation of the Blind - Women's Forum has decided to conduct a one-day seminar on 13 December 2009, under the auspices of Kerala Women's Commission at NGO Hall, Near Fathima Hospital, Kozhikode.

The topic is "the problems faced by visually impaired women and their remedies".  Additionally, the forum will submit some recommendations for the welfare of the visually impaired women to Kerala government through Women's Commission. Please send me your valuable suggestions and recommendations. Two papers will be presented  after this session.

The topics are:

1. Activities of Kerala Women's Commission for the empowerment of women 
2. Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005 

All the blind women from Kerala are requested to participate in the seminar. Travelling expense will be provided by Kerala Women's Commission.  Please inform at the earliest those who are coming on 12 December 2009 (Saturday).
