East Zone chess championship for the blind which will be held at Bhubaneswar Odisha from 27th to 29th 2012. This

tournament is jointly organised by Odisha Chess Asssociation of the Blind and All India Chess Federation For the blind (AICFB).

Details of the tournament:

Lodging & boarding will be provided from 26th April evening to 30th April morning.

Top 20 men players and 5 women players will be selected for National B chess championship for the blind from this tournament.

Escorts are not allowed without prior approval, Escorts accompanying players without approval has to pay for their lodging and boarding charges or make their own arrangements.

All players must pay AICFB annual registration fee of Rs. 50/-. Above mention registration fee are annual in nature has to pay once in a financial year. After paying this registration fee, Players will have benefit to play as many tournaments with out paying registration fee in this financial year. The players who have already paid these fees need not pay for this year but they have to produce the receipt for the same.
Tournament will be played on Swiss league basis according to FIDE & IBCA rules.

Final function will be on 29th April evening, attendance is compulsory.

All the players have to strictly follow the AICFB rules any miss conduct will not be tolerated.

Confirm your participation by sending attached form duly filled through post, E mail and also inform by phone or SMS to organizers on or before 31st March 2012.

Please note: The confirmation of the entries will be done on bases of players past performance. Confirmation of entry is the sole rite of AICFB. If any player after confirmation of their entry is not able to participate due to genuine reason should inform AICFB in writing before 15th April 2012 else they are libel for disciplinary action.
