Stenographers Grade D Examination, 2014

1. Commision will hold a Cmbined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the posts of stenographer grade D. The examination will comprise of a written objective type examination followed by skill test in stenography at 100 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. for stenography grade D.
2. Candidates seeking reservation benefits available for physically handicapped must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the notice. They should also be in possession of the certificates in the prescribed format in support of their claim at the time of skill test.
3. Candidates with visual diability of 40% and more only would be considerd as visually handicapped for  for availing reservation for VH, whenever such reservation is applicable.
4. Fee is exempted for all physically handicapped as per government orders.
5. Closing date: 27.06.2014 (upto 5pm) . But for candidates resididing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and for candidates residing abroad- 3.07.2014.
6. Only a single application will be entertained.
7. No mobile phones allowed.
8. The commission encourages candidates to apply online. The online application will be available at the website till 26th june ,2014 till 5pm.
9. the date of examination is 14th September, 2014.

Documents Required 

1. Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing identity proof in original such as driving licence, voter card, adhaar card, identity card failing which candidates cannot appear in the examination.
2. Candidates should bring passport size colour photographs. Candidates not carring the photographs will not be aallowed to appear in the examination.

2. Vacancies reserved for physical handicapped persons are horizontal.
3. Reservation for physically handicapped is available as per government orders.
4. Vacancies of stenographer grade D are for ministries/departments of central government including attached/suborinate offices located in states and union territories all over the country.
5. Ag limit: 18-27 years as on 1.08.2014.
6. Age relaxation as on the date reckoning: 10 years
7. one eyed candidates and partially blind candidates who are able to read the normal Question Paper set for all the candidates  with or without magnifying glass and who wish to write the examination with the help of magnifying glasswill be allowed to use the same in the examination hall and will not be entitled to a scribe. Such candidates will have to bring their own magnifying glass to the examination hall.
8. Visually handicapped will be allowed compensatory time in the examination hall.
9. Visually handicapped candidates with 40% and above visual disabilities can avail the assistance of a scribe provided by the commission.
10. the minimum education required is 12th pass.
