Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), henceforth mentioned as KVS, an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India invites Online applications from Indian Citizens for filling up the Officer's Cadre, Teaching Misc. Teaching and Non Teaching posts to be filled by direct recruitment for the years 2014-15 and 2015-16.

Age Limit: 18-27 years
Educational qualification: (i) Class XII pass or equivalent qualification from recognized board or university.
(ii) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

Educational Qualification: (i)Four years integrated degree course of Regional COllege of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate

Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subject are as under:
 
a. Hindi: Hindi as subject in all the three years.
b. Science: Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
 
(ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) paper-II conducted by CBSE in accordnance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
(iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

The candidate should possess the professional qualification of B.Ed as on the last date of submission of applications.

TGT (AE): Five year's recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art

d: TGT (WE) Electrical Gadgets and Electronics: 
 
i) Three years Diploma after Higher Secondary in Electrical Electronics Engineering from an institution recognized by State Govt./Govt. of India (The minimum qualification for admission to the Diploma course should be at least Higher Secondary)
 
or
 
Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University.
OR
Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized University.
 
ii) Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
 
Desirable:
 
i) One year practical experience in a recognized workshop institution/factory.
ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications.
 
4. Post: Primary Teacher and PRT Music (Group B Post)
i) Primary Teacher

Qualification: Essential: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent.
ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Elgibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
iii) Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
 
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
 
 
ii) PRT (Music)

Qualifications: Essential: i) Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent and Bachelor Degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized university.
ii) Competence to teach through English/Hindi media
 
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
Pay Band: Rs. 9300-34,800/- + Grade Pay: Rs. 4200
Age Limit: 30 years
 
 
For the post of Primary Teacher, the candidate should possess two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
 
The candidates having professional qualification B.Ed or B.Ed (Special education) are not eligible for the post of Primary Teacher.
 
For the post of PRT (Music) the candidates who have obtained Diploma from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh are not eligible to apply.
 
Age relaxation: For Persons with Disabilities: 10 years for Persons with Disability and 5 years for SC/ST subject to maximum age limit of superannuation.

No fee is requred to be paid by SC/ST/Persons with Disability candidates categories.
 
5% relaxation in CTET marks has been given to the candidates belonging to Persons with Disability category.
 
Candidates belonging to SC,ST,OBC and Persons with Disability categories who passed CTET with 82 marks or more are eligible to apply for the post for TGT and Primary Teacher as per their eligibility for the post.
 
In case of selection of a candidate to the post advertised, he/she shall be posted anywhere in India and the candidate will have no vested right to be posted at the place of his/her choice.
