AWAKE VISHWA SEVA FOUNDATION! With the successful batch Awake is going to start fresh batch for Basic and advanced Computer Course in june 23rd 2015 at Bangalore.

 

 

To Create IT Awareness, Provide Knowledge and Specialized Skills to empower the student to become Self-Sufficient and Independent Enough in Order to Take Advantage of Employment and Entrepreneurial Opportunities In The IT-Enabled Society.

 

This course is of 8 months duration, in this time we will be training the students in Computers,  Personality development, Soft skills, Spoken English yoga and OJT(on job training ), and ultimately the objective is that the students should be able to operate the computers on their own and be placed in a good position.  We are looking for at least 10 students for admission.

 

Last date for the registration is 23rd of june 2015. Free Boarding and lodging available.

Any person with Visual Impairment who -. Has passed Standard 10th and 12th, priority will be given for the graduates .

Introduction to Assistive technologies for visually impaired.

 

Basic concepts such as desktop, taskbar, menus, Editing,

 

Dialog box, File/Folder management etc...

 

Screen readers, NVDA/JAWS settings and help

 

MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook

 

Internet- Email, online chat, internet calling, social

 

networking, reading websites, online file transfer etc...

 

YOGA:

 

Thy-Che ,pranayama and meditation .

 

ENGLISH LEARNING :

 

Spoken English , supplementary English and English grammar .
