SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE UNDER PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWD) CATEGORY                    

 

                                   

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the following posts in Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD), Department of Atomic Energy against Special Recruitment Drive under PWD category:

 

Post: WORK ASSISTANT – A 

(Laboratories / Work Shops / Plant / Cosmetic Maintenance /Field Posting)

No. of posts: 07, out of which 03 for Visually Impaired

Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200 – 20200 with GP Rs. 1800/                                           

 

                                                                                            

Note: The degree of disability should not be less than 40 percentage. “Hearing handicapped” means loss of 60 decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies.                                                                                                                                                                            

 

Educational Qualifications: Matriculation (10th Standard) pass

                              

                                                                                       

 

Age Limit: 37 yrs.                                                                          

 

                                                                                         

 

The screened in candidates will have to qualify in the Written Test followed by Personal Interview. In case of Visually impaired candidates scribe will be provided for the Written Test.

HOW TO APPLY:

 

The application should be submitted in the proforma given in the Advertisement, preferably typewritten on thick A4 size/foolscap paper. 

The application and the outer cover should be superscribed as Application for the post of Work Assistant-A in AMD under Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), against the advertisement AMD-1/2015.  

 

The candidates name, address with pincode, date of birth should be written legibly in English in Bold Capital Letter even if a candidate fills the application form in Hindi.                                                                                             

 

Photograph: A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the space provided on the right hand top corner of the application and an additional photograph (with name on backside) sent along with the application.

   

 

Copies of Certificates: Candidates should submit along with their application, attested copies of following certificates :

  

 

(a) Educational/technical qualifications (supported by appropriate marks sheets indicating the subjects offered at the examination).

   

 

(b) Date of Birth 

 

(c) Caste Certificates in the prescribed proforma issued by the Competent Authority regarding the claim that the candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC.

                                   

(d) Non-creamy layer & validity certificate issued within one year in respect of OBC candidates.

 

 

(e) The candidates should enclose an attested copy of Disability Certificate issued by an appropriate medical authority clearly indicating the level of disability.
