Band/Grade Pay and eligibility conditions are as follows:

 

Post: Legal Assistant

No. of posts: 24, out of which 02 for Visually Impaired

Pay Scale: 9300-34800/-Plus GP Rs. 4600/-(PB-2)

Qualification: (i) Possessing Regular Degree in Law (entitling the incumbent for Registration at Bar and appearing before the Courts) from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) 03 years’ experience at Bar.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years

 

The minimum disability should not be less than 40%.

 

Age relaxation: Persons with Disabilities 10 Years

 

No fee for Persons with Disabilities

 

Examination Centers: The online examination as well as Computer Proficiency Test or Skill Test (as applicable), will be held at the centers located in Delhi/NCR only.

 

All the visually handicapped (VH) candidates with visual disabilities not less than forty percent (40%) including blind and partially blind persons or who have physical limitation to write including that of speed and who have applied for the examination can avail the assistance of a scribe. The candidate can request the DDA for the same in online application form.

 

One eyed candidates and partially blind candidates who are able to read the normal Question Paper sset for all the candidates with or without magnifying glass and who wish to write/indicate the answer with the help of magnifying glass will be allowed to use the magnifying glass in the Examination Hall and will not be entitled to a scribe. Such candidates will have to bring their own Magnifying Glass to the Examination Hall.
