Manish (name changed), a 22 year old resident of Sangrur, Punjab first got in touch with the Eyeway helpdesk in May, 2016. At the time he had just completed his B.Com degree. He informed us that he was interested in pursuing law for further studies but was very doubtful if he could get admission. Our counsellor advised him to go ahead and apply for admission, re-assuring him that he would not be denied admission due to his disability. Encouraged by our guidance, he started the application process. As a result of his efforts, he got admitted to the Department of Law at Punjab University, Chandigarh and is currently studying law there. We are delighted to be a part of his achievement. 

He contacted us recently in July as well as August. He shared with our counsellor that he wanted to undergo training in computers in Chandigarh. We connected him to the National Association for the Blind (NAB), Chandigarh. He is now registered with them for a computer training programme. We are happy to support Manish as a one-stop resource for all his information needs.
