Harvinder Singh, a 71 year old resident of Chandigarh contacted the Eyeway Helpdesk in June, 2016. He is suffering from loss of vision as well as hearing.When he contacted us, he was trying to learn how to use the computer but was facing difficulties in the process.He wanted to learn how to use other, simpler devices such as mobile phones. He asked our counsellor about accessibility features-rich options available for him among smartphones. We advised him regarding this and also guided him to buy a suitable device. Now, he is using an iPhone without assistance and is also learning how to use different kinds of apps.  Apps have proved to be very useful in assisting his learning process with regards to his areas of interest such as computers and other forms of technology.
