Lalzawmliana (Zawma) Sailo, the founder of the band who plays the guitar and keyboard joined the Jyoti Sroat School, Bethany Society to teach music to the specially abled children in 2007. The school band consisted of several students learning music despite their disabilities. The band members consists of Dilbertstar Lyngdoh (19) on bass, Hilter Khongpai (21) on drums, Remiki Pajuh (23) on the guitar and Wanlamphrang Nongklhaw (25) on vocal.
The event is organized by Team Metamorphosis, a Wokha based Non Governmental Organization whose members render their voluntarily services for the welfare of the society. Since 2014 the organization had been engaged in various social welfare activities like blood donation, mobilizing people, creating awareness for blood donations to save more lives. Inspired by Mhomo Tungoe, former SDO Civil Wokha, the organization in collaboration with the Lotha Youth Hoho and the District Aids Prevention and Control Unit (DAPCU) have set up as Data Base Blood Donors Club in 2016 through which many precious lives have been saved. In addition, Team Metamorphosis has also undertaken construction/repair works of public amenities where required.
The band has consented to charge only 50% of their normal fee and the remaining amount would go towards helping poor patients who do not have relatives or do not have money to even buy emergency medicine. The technical support for the live concert will be backed voluntarily by The King’s Sound; A Live Sound Company at Wokha with its 20,000 Watts RMS live sound.
