Assam Gramin Vikash Bank invites applications from Indian citizens, for the post of Officer in Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) from Indian citizens who have been declared qualified at the Online CWE for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2013.
Post:
1. Officer Scale-I
No. of posts: 58, out of which 01 for V.I.
Pay Scale: Rs. 14500-25700/-
Probation period: Two years
Age: 18-28 years
Educational qualifications: i. Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and
Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy
ii. Proficiency in local language
iii Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.
2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)
No. of posts: 128, out of which 01 for V.I.
Pay Scale: Rs. 8000-19300/-
Probation period: One year
Age: 18-28 years
Educational qualifications: Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent

(b) Desirable: Knowledge of Computer skills

INTERVIEW CENTRE:
The Interview will be held at the Guwahati centre and the complete address of the venue will be advised in the call letters. The address of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews.
HOW TO APPLY: Candidates are required to apply online through Bank’s website www.agvbank.co.in between 01.02.2014 and 10.03.2014. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted
Candidates should ensure that their personal email ID (as specified in the online application form while applying for RRBs- CWE-II (CWE conducted in September/ October 2013) is kept active during the
currency of a recruitment project. Bank may send call letters for Interview etc. to the registered e-mail ID.
Application fee: Rs. 100 for PwD candidates.
The applicant should sign and affix his/her photograph on such printout of application and keep the same ready for submission if selected for Interview along with copies of required documents mentioned below:
1. Printout of the online application submitted.
2. Printout of IBPS Scores for the stipulated examination.
3. 10th standard examination Mark sheet in support of local language.
4. Attested copy of School leaving certificate or any other document as proof of age acceptable to the Bank.
5. Attested copies of Mark sheets / certificates in support of Educational Qualification;
6. Attested copy of certificate of Computer Course, as applicable;
7. Caste / PWD any other related certificate as applicable.
8. Photo identity proof.
9. Any other relevant document
Candidate has to affix his/her photograph on the call letter. Candidate has to bring this call letter along with requisite enclosures while attending the Interview without which they will not be allowed to take up the Interview.
Guidelines for Persons With Disabilities using a Scribe
The visually impaired candidates and candidates whose writing speed is affected by cerebral palsy can use their own scribe at their cost during the online examination. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply:
• The candidate will have to arrange his own scribe at his/her own cost.
• The scribe may be from any academic stream. However for Specialist Officers’ posts the scribe should be from an academic stream different from that prescribed for the post.
• Both the candidate as well as scribe will have to give a suitable undertaking confirming that the scribe fulfils all the stipulated eligibility criteria for a scribe mentioned above. Further in case it later transpires that he/she did not fulfill any laid down eligibility criteria or suppressed material facts the candidature of the applicant will stand cancelled, irrespective of the result of the online examination.
• Those candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for extra time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination.
