IIT Delhi invites applications from exceptionally bright and motivated persons, who have an established record of independent, high quality research, and who are committed to teaching and research, for the following regular positions in various Departments /Centres/Schools in the fields listed against each: 



Posts: 



1. Professor 

PAY BAND: Rs. 37400-67000 (minimum pay of Rs. 48000/-) +AGP Rs.10500/-(Pay Band-4) 

Minimum qualification & experience: A Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch / discipline with a very good academic record throughout. 



Minimum 10 years Teaching / Research / Industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs. IISc Bangalore. IIMs, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign Institution /Institutions of comparable standards. 



2. Associate Professor 

PAY BAND: Rs. 37400-67000 (minimum pay of Rs. 42800/-) +AGP Rs.9500/-(Pay Band-4) 

Minimum qualification & experience: A Ph.D. with first class or equivalent grade at the preceding degree in an appropriate branch / discipline with a very good academic record throughout. 

Minimum 6 years Teaching / Research / Industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent. 



3. Assistant Professor (on contract)
