Qualifictions: Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Civil Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC.
Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or HSC level examination.

2 Stipendiary Trainees / Technician (ST/TN) (Categoty II) Maintainer

For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates should have at least one year relevant working experience after completion of the course.
Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.

Pay Scale: During 2nd year of training, stipend of ₹12500/- Per Month.

Computer Proficiency Test
Candidates should have passed a Certificate Course of duration of not less than 6 months on MS-Windows Operating System and Desktop Applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), e-mail Management and Internet Surfing.
However, Certificate Course will not apply to the candidates who have studied computer science/computer applications as one of the subjects in their school or college curriculum.
Age: 21-28 years
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,500/-
Those appointed for the above posts will be on probation for a period of one year and shall be confirmed in the post on successful completion of the probationary period.
Age Relaxation: 10 years
Online examination will be conducted tentatively in February, 2023. Exact date, time and venue of the written examination will be available in the “Admit Card”. Admit card of the screened-in candidates for appearing in the written examination will be made available on the website for downloading. Email/SMS will also be sent to screened-in candidates.
All the candidates screened in Stage-1 shall undertake an advanced test and the Test will be of 02 (two hours) duration for a Maximum of 150 marks.
Candidates have to apply through online application form provided on the website www.npcilcareers.co.in only.
Before applying online candidate should scan his/her photograph in JPG format, of size not more than 50KB and a minimum of 125 x 165 pixels (4.4 x 5.8 in cm) in dimensions and signature in JPG format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125 x 80 pixels (4.4 x 2.9 cm) in dimensions. The photograph uploaded will be printed on the Admit card/ Interview call letter and only the candidate whose photograph is printed on the Admit Card/Call letter will be allowed to appear for Written Examination/Personal Interview, if called for.
The photograph should be in colour, against a light colored, preferably white background and if you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
Candidate must ensure that Photo to be uploaded is of required size and face should be clearly visible. If the photo is not uploaded at the place of Photo admission for examination will be rejected/ denied.
The applicant has to ensure that the signature image should be clearly visible and has to sign on white paper with blue/black ink pen. Unsigned and signature in CAPITAL LETTERS shall be summarily rejected.
The signature image in JPG format of size not more than 20KB and a minimum of 125 x 80 pixels (4.4 x 2.9 cm) in dimensions to be uploaded at the space provided.
Application will be accepted through ONLINE mode only. Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten/typewritten applications in hard format delivered in person or by other means shall not be entertained. No certificates/marksheets etc. are required to be submitted alongwith “online application form” except Project Affected Persons (PAP) documents, if applicable. No documents/application forms etc. are required to be sent to NPCIL. However candidate may take print-out of the application form which needs to be submitted to NPCIL, if selected.
Candidates who wish to apply for more than one post should apply separately for each post. Request for change of discipline, post, test centre, test date and timing will not be entertained after submission of online application.
All candidates belonging to SC/ST/EWS/OBC(NCL)/PwBD category shall produce at the time of personal interview/skill test/documents verification, self attested copy of the valid caste certificate in the prescribed ‘Central Government’ format from the Competent Authority empowered to issue such certificate along with originals for verification. OBC candidates with certificate having the “Non-Creamy Layer Clause” only will be eligible for reservation as per Government of India guidelines and the caste should be in the Central List of OBC. Further, OBC(NCL) applicants if called for Personal Interview will have to give an undertaking indicating that they belong to OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category at the time of reporting for Personal Interview. (The date of issue of valid certificate for OBC(NCL) and EWS candidates should be on or before the last date of submission of application)
At the time of Personal Interview/Skill Test/Certificate Verification, shortlisted candidates are required to produce printout of the online application and admit card alongwith all original certificates for verification of date of birth proof (i.e. 10th Std. passing Certificate indicating Date of Birth OR School Leaving Certificate), caste, disabilities, qualification, experience (if any) etc. and certificate / authentic documents in original in support of any claim for relaxation of age along with self attested copies of all such certificates / documents (Formats can be downloaded from Downloads menu from the website). No candidate will be interviewed, if any of the required certificates / documents are not produced.
Before uploading/submission of Application form, the candidates should be cautious and ensure his/her eligibility to apply for the post. No relevant column of the application form should be left blank.
