The National Centre for Sustainable Coastal Management (NCSCM) is a society of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India and has its registered office and research centre at Anna University Campus, Chennai 600025, Tamil Nadu, India. NCSCM is formed to develop world class knowledge base in India, related to management of the coastal and marine areas. NCSCM is inviting applications for the following positions. All the positions mentioned below will be on contract for a period until project duration, with likely extensions. Administrative Positions

Posts: 
1. Senior Librarian

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Library Science or Master degree with PG Diploma in library science from a recognized university. Must have overall working experience of at least 10 years in library. Should possess sound knowledge of application of IT in library management.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge in management of library in scientific/research organisation. Knowledge in on-line research paper & journal subscriptions.

Upper age limit: 45 years

2. Librarian

Qualification: Must possess a graduate degree and have Diploma in Library Science. Minimum 8 years of experience in membership enrolment, purchase and arranging of books/ journals, cataloguing the new 
arrivals of books, maintenance of accession register, issues / receipts of books.

The candidate needs to submit his/her application online in the website www.ncscm.res.in on or before 1st December 2016.

A candidate can apply only up to a maximum of two positions. All applications of the candidate who have applied more than two positions  will summarily be rejected.

The candidate is required to upload Scanned copies of the Self attested documents in proof of their claim at the time of online application.

Candidates need to submit the hard copy of the online application along with documents that were attached, at the time of interview/certificate verification.

The place of posting will be in Chennai or at any other location in India as required. The positions may involve field activities/ touring  anywhere in India, based on the requirement of the project.
