The XRCVC team to an evening where we at our program "sexuality and disability" will join hands with the global movement One Billion Rising and rise with and for women with disabilities for their rights.
 
As part of our work to eliminate stigma and prejudice against women with disabilities, we are raising our voice  against discrimination, exploitation, and violence. through our art performances, we want to celebrate  diverse bodies and minds ; we want to say no to exclusion; we want to say we can and we will!
 
So please join us on February 12 for a fun evening  of slam poetry by a woman with psychosocial disability, stand up comedy by a visually impaired woman, dances by persons with locomotor impairments, drama by disabled and non disabled community leaders of Dharavi slums, and a theme performance on acid attacks by choreographer Sandip Soparrkar and actor Sharbani Mukherji. At the end of the hour of these diverse performances, it will be time for us to shake a leg on the inclusive dance floor!
