Applications are invited by the General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Tiruchirapalli from Indian Nationals for filling up of the following post by special direct recruitment drive for persons with disabilities:

 

Post: Stenographer

Group: C

No. of post: 01 for Visually Impaired

Pay Band: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-

Essential qualification: 1. 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or university.

2. Skill Test Norms only on computers

Dictation: 10 minutes at the rate of 80 words per minute in stenography (English or Hindi)

Transcription: 50 minutes (English) 65 minutes.

 

Age: 18-27 years

 

The persons having minimum 40% disability in Visually Handicapped category only can apply for the post of stenographer.

 

Applications should be submitted in the prescribed format (A4) as given below. The candidates should write the required information in English (Capital letters) or in Hindi. Those candidates who fill up the application form in Hindi, should write their name and address in English capital letters also.

 

A recent passport size photograph (not more than 03 months old) should be pasted (not stapled) by the applicant on the application form duly attested by a Gazetted Officer or Principal of the school which he or she has last attended. The impression of attestation should come both on photograph and application form i.e. one part of it on the photograph 

and one part on tje application form. Two additional identical photograph should also be enclosed along with the application form, indicating the name of the applicant on the reverse.

 

The envelope containing the application must be superscribed in bold letters as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF STENOGRAPHER' clearly mentioning the name of the post and should be addressed to the General Manager, Ordnance Factory Tiruchitapalli.
