Post:STIPENDIARY TRAINEE CATEGORY – II

Trade / Discipline:
(i) Plumber 02
ST-04
(ii) Electrician: 02

Qualification: i) Minimum 60% marks (in aggregate) in SSC or HSC, both with Science and Maths.
ii) Trade Certificate of not less than 1 year duration in respective trade (Draughtsman (Civil)/ Mason/Carpenter/Plumber/ Electrician/Fitter/Library Assistant).
STIPEND PAYABLE FOR STIPENDIARY TRAINEES
: First year of Training Rs. 6200/= per month
Second year of Training Rs. 7200/= per month
Between 18 to 22 years
Candidates selected against this advertisement are likely to be posted at IGCAR, Kalpakkam but are liable to serve in any part of India and in any constituent unit of the Department of Atomic Energy.
There shall be no written examination for the post of Plumber (ST-04) and Electrician (ST-05) earmarked for Visually Impaired (VH).
HOW TO APPLY:
i) Candidates should apply only through online in our website www.igcar.gov.in under the tab "Recruitment". The relevant link for submitting the application through online will be made available from 28.09.2015 at 10:00 AM and will be closed on 20.11.2015 at 05:30 PM. Separate application should be submitted for each post.
No other means / mode of application shall be accepted.
A valid e-mail ID and Mobile Number is mandatory for registration and email ID should be kept active till the declaration of results. IGCAR will send Hall Tickets for Written Examination, Interview Call Letters, Other Memos etc. to the registered / given e-mail ID only. No correspondence will be sent through post/courier.
After submitting of online application the candidate should forward the printout of the application generated by the system with the unique registration number through online along with the following supporting documents in support of the claims made in online application. The hard copy of the application should be signed in the space provided.
a) Affix one passport size photograph on the space provided duly signed.
b) Self-attested xerox copy for proof for Date of birth (Only SSC/Matriculation/HSC certificate, birth certificate will be accepted as proof of date of birth)
c) Self-attested xerox copy of certificates in support of Educational qualification and technical qualification.
d) Self-attested xerox copy of Community Certificate in the prescribed format (for SC/ST/OBC format is available on the IGCAR website itself and for OBC Non-Creamy layer certificate issued within one year period)
e) Self-attested xerox copy of Disability Certificate issued by Competent Medical Authorities.
An application shall be treated as submitted only if duly signed hard copy of the online application is received.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED (VH): Low vision: "Person with low vision" means a person with impairment of visual functioning even after treatment or standard refractive correction but who uses or is potentially capable of using vision for the planning or execution of a task with appropriate assistive device.
