She has lost her eyes but not her vision. Visually impairedsince birth, class X student Aanchal Saini secured 85.2%in her Board exams. A student of Lucknow Public College, Rajajipuram, Aanchal credited her success to her school teachers and parents for consistent motivation.

Elated with his daughter's success, Aanchal's father Jagdish Saini said she made them proud. "It was her efforts and dedication which made her achieve success in the board examination. She use to listen to classroom lectures attentively and was given a scribe to appear for the examination," said principal Asha Singh.

"My favourite subject is English and I want to specialise in it," said Aanchal.
