We, Sarthak Educational Trust are an NGO located in Delhi, which has been  working for past 2.5 years for the empowerment of Persons with Disability. We  provide Training and also facilitate the employment of Persons with Disability.

We are proud to present to you a revolutionary tool "Windmills Attitudinal Training Program" A DIVERSITY AND DISABILITY TRAINING PROGRAM THAT SEEKS TO SHATTER ATTITUDINAL BARRIERS. Since its creation in 1982 by Richard Pimentel and its revision in 1993 to reflect changes in legislation and the Americans with Disabilities Act, Windmills has been widely used in almost every state in the United States and all over the world. Most recently, in 2008 two new modules were added to include emotional disabilities and traumatic brain injuries. The Windmills Program has enabled thousands of corporate trainers, job developers and disability advocates to effectively make their own inroads against discriminatory workplace practices.

Sarthak bring this program to India in collaboration with Christoffel Blinden Mission, Germany through Disability Management Services, South Africa in November 2011. HOW CAN THE "WINDMILLS" PROGRAM HELP MY ORGANISATION?

Many organisations would like to employ persons with disabilities but find that fears, biases and myths create barriers in the hiring process.  The training focuses on attitudes and human factors, but it also concerns issues including legal requirements  and reasonable accommodation. The modules primarily consist of exercises relevant to the everyday world of work to which participants can relate and then remember on the job.

4 days Train the trainer program covers all the 11 modules of Windmills and you have the option of becoming a licensed trainer of the Windmills program.
