Some of the visually impaired students found it difficult to attempt the questions where diagrams have been asked to be drawn.

The General Science question paper of High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Exam 2019 asking visually impaired students to draw diagrams raised objections from a number of people.

As of now Karna Vidya trained 200 students in employability skills. Braille voters slips for visually impaired, pick - drop for differently-abled in Jharkhand

The chief electoral office (CEO) in Jharkhand on Tuesday announced a series of measures to ensure hassle-free participation of voters with disabilities in the Lok Sabha elections.

State’s CEO, L Khiyangate said that visually impaired voters would be provided with Braille enabled voter slips and pick and drop facility would be given to the physically challenged persons in coming parliamentary elections. Khiyangate said that the initiatives were taken as part of Election Commission of India’s (ECI) strategy framework for ‘accessible election.’

C-Vigil App to check model code violations

The Chief Electoral Officer of the State today announced that a slew of measures will be introduced in the forthcoming general elections for free and fair polls. The ECI is going to introduce Citizen Vigilance (C-Vigil) App, through which any voter can inform ECI, if he or she finds any violation of model code of conduct in the elections in their booth.

For a long time, cataract was considered a condition that only affected people aged 55 years and above. In recent years, however, we have seen more and more cases of cataract in people as young as 35-40 years! While it is true that cataract is more cases of cataract in people as young as 35-40 years!
