RAIPUR: In a remarkable display of grit and determination, 17-year-old Sukhdev Kewat, a 100% visually impaired student from Chiknidih, a small village in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, Chhattisgarh, made India proud at the Dubai 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix - 16th Fazza in Dubai. This championship is organised for people of determination.
Competing in the T11 visually impaired category, Sukhdev clinched the silver medal in the 400-metre race, clocking an impressive 59.00 seconds—becoming the first Indian athlete in his category to achieve this feat.
