Focus Braille Display Series

Braillex Series

Braillex EL 80s

BRAILLEX EL 80s is a desktop unit with 80 interactive Braille cells. The "s" in its name stands for "slim line". With only 22 mm (0.87") height, BRAILLEX EL 80s is the flattest 80 cell Braille display world wide. , , It offers a choice of traditional flat Braille cells or newly designed slightly concave cells, formed to follow the curves of your fingertips. The double cursor-routing keys are integrated into the cells in a way that minimal movement of the fingers allows exact and comfortable operation. The Easy Access Bar allows fast and intuitive navigation across the computer screen.

Braillex EL 80

BRAILLEX EL 80 offers full 80 cells (along with 2 status cells) to read the computer screen. Even though this "classical" Efficiency Line display has no dedicated structural display, it also features Papenmeier’s 2D technology . Just press a key and you can see the structure of the screen data on your Braille display.

Braillex EL 66s

BRAILLEX EL 66s is a desktop unit with 66 interactive Braille cells. 66 cells perfectly accommodate the proportionally spaced text lines of a Windows document. Even long lines rarely have more than 130 characters. The Easy Access Bar makes it a very attractive medium-size Braille display., , Thanks to USB "plug & play" and "hot swap" features, you simply connect the Braille display to your computer, start your favourite screen reader program and go! Alternatively, you can also connect the device to a serial port of your computer.

Braillex EL 40s

Its 40 interactive cells in the light but sturdy aluminum-magnesium housing need less than half the surface of a sheet of paper (dimensions: 310 x 115 x 22 mm or 12.2 x 4.5 x 0.87") Its weight of approx. 890 g (2 lbs) makes it really portable even for school children.

BRAILLEX EL 2D-80 is the biggest and the most complete of the BRAILLEX EL displays with the patented Easy Access Bar. With its 80 cells Braille and its 20 cell vertical display it guarantees maximum comfort and working speed. BRAILLEX EL 2D-80 is equipped with newly designed interactive Braille cells with integrated TwinRouting keys. The first routing key gives instant access to the place on the screen you point to. The second routing key can be assigned to control speech navigation, right mouse clicks, etc.
