Jammu, Oct 11: Scripting a narrow victory by 10 runs over formidable Delhi, Haryana lifted the title trophy in the Inter-State Cricket for blind, organised jointly by Cricket Association for Blind Jammu and Kashmir (CABJK) and Cricket Association for Blind Kerala (CABK) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council at MA Stadium, here today.
Batting first, Haryana scored 188 runs. Rohit Sharma top scored with 70 runs. For Delhi, Mukesh Kumar bagged 1 wicket.

The purpose was to introduce them to mobile technology. They will be given 3 months training regarding use of phones to use the internet and distance learning, Dr Parikshit Gogate, director at the centre and noted ophthalmologist said.

Sharad and his two younger brothers were diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa and lost his vision at a young age, leading to challenges throughout his growing-up years. Despite a discouraging ecosystem during his college years, Sharad was determined to study Science and not let his lack of sight become a barrier to achieving his dream of being in a medical profession.
