Helpdesk launched for the blind in India
New Delhi, Dec 21 (IANS) Now the visually impaired in India can call a toll free number and get their queries addressed in their local language, thanks to an initiative launched on Monday.

नई दिल्ली। देशभर के दृष्टिहीनों के लिए सहायता केंद्र (हेल्पडेस्क) की शुरुआत की गई है। दृष्टिहीन अब एक टोल फ्री नंबर 1800-300-20469 पर फोन कर अपने से संबंधित कोई भी जानकारी पा सकेंगे। विकलांगजन सशक्तिकरण विभाग के सचिव लव वर्मा ने सोमवार को औपचारिक तौर पर दृष्टिहीनों के लिए आइवे हेल्पडेस्क को लांच किया।

PAK BLIND CRICKETERS CLEARED FOR INDIA
With the inauguration of the 22nd National Cricket Tournament for the blind at Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Ground, Chanakyapuri, the Cricket Association for the Blind (CABI) got another boost on Thursday as the Pakistan Government cleared the Pakistan blind team to travel to India for the Asia Cup in January.
